WoW Engineering Guide (1 – 525)

Engineering is the most unique and most fun WoW profession but it does require a lot of gold to make the really awesome items. If you running out mats for your engineering check out WOW GOLD REVIEWS. It provides a method of leveling up your engineering from 1 to 525, which has been selected for its low cost and simplicity. However, no matter what, leveling engineering is going to be awfully expensive to grind. It is well worth it though, as it is one of the most hilarious and enjoyable professions in PvP with awesome items like the [Discombulator Ray].

In some instances you will have to keep some of the engineering materials you craft to use them later down the road in this leveling guide so I highly recommend that you keep components based off expansion. Everything you make from 1 to 300 from engineering keep until you reach 300 and it might be safe to sell. Then keep everything you make from 300-350, once you hit 350 you’ll be switching to Northrend stuff, and once you hit 425 you can sell the Northrend stuff. I will try to make a note to tell you what stuff to keep when possible. Also, this is going to get very expensive unless you’re farming your own materials, make sure you have this guide available to you.

At start i’d really advise to buy a [Gnomish Army Knife] from the Auction House before you start. It is used to replace Gyromatic Micro-Adjustor, Arclight Spanner and Blacksmith Hammer. If you can’t afford to buy one, you will have to make a Gyromatic Micro-Adjustor and Arclight Spanner while you level your Engineering and you also need to buy a Blacksmith Hammer from the Blacksmith supply vendor, it’s near your trainer.

320 – 325	5 x [Fel Iron Musket]	5 Heavy Stock, 15 Fel Iron Casing, 30 Handful of Fel Iron Bolts	You can buy the Heavy Stocks from the vendor.
325 – 335	10 x [Adamantite Grenade]	40 Adamantite Bar, 10 Elemental Blasting Powder, 20 Handful of Fel Iron Bolts
335 – 350	30 x [White Smoke Flare]	30 Netherweave Cloth, 30 Elemental Blasting Powder	Recipe location, Visit your trainer and learn Grand Master Engineering.
350 – 370	35 x [1-3 Handful of Cobalt Bolts]	70 Cobalt Bar	You will need around 50 [Handful of Cobalt Bolts] and 24 [Volatile Blasting Trigger] later. Make these now, and you should reach 375 or probably more.

Engineering has the option at skill level 200 to specialize in Gnomish or Goblin Engineering. The main difference between both sides is the location of their respective teleporters and the ability of their trinkets. Some items require a specific specialization to use, while other items are crafted by one specialization but are usable by any engineer. Fortunately, most recipes that are crafted by one Specialization can be worn by both.
